Caleb Erbert is a 3L at MSU College of Law. He attended Walsh College of Accountancy and Business Administration in Troy, Michigan and received a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy in 2011. Between undergrad and law school, Caleb worked as a Collateral Field Examiner, where he traveled the country and worked closely with many of the largest lenders and banks in the United States to audit the accounts receivable and inventory that secured the loans of their borrowers.

At MSU Law, in addition to being a member of Law Review, Caleb has spent two semesters at the MSU Housing Law Clinic. There he drafted complaints and answers, reviewed leases, and appeared on the record each week in district court as part of the Eviction Diversion Program.

During his 1L summer, Caleb worked as a corporate intern under the chief in-house counsel at Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy, a large publically traded company in Flint, Michigan. During this past summer, Caleb was a State & Local Tax Intern at KPMG in Detroit, MI, one of the “big-four” international accounting firms.

Caleb enjoys traveling with his wife, playing far too many instruments, golfing, and trying out new recipes. After graduation, Caleb will practice as a transactional attorney in Detroit, Michigan where he has accepted a position upon passage of the bar as an associate with Kerr, Russell and Weber.
