Summer Experience: U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General Corps (JAG) Internship at Scott Air Force Base, IL.

I am from Portsmouth, Virginia. I Graduated from Howard University in 2010 with a B.A. in Legal Communications and minored in Criminal Justice. I commissioned into the Air Force in 2010 as a Logistics Readiness Officer. Since commissioning I have been stationed in Georgia, South Korea, Japan, and Michigan. I graduated from Liberty University in 2013 with an MBA in Marketing. My first legal internship was at the U.S. Air Force (USAF) Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland. My latest internship was with the USAF JAG Corps at Scott Air Force Base. I am a member of the Michigan State Law Review, the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute, an MSU Law Student Ambassador, African Heritage Alliance Brother, and a student representative for the Barbri Bar Prep course.  My hobbies are traveling, spending time with family and friends, running, and spending time with my dog "Lily Cheeks."
