Evan Hebert’s legal practice is primarily concerned with the intersections between business, public policy, and administrative rulemaking. His past work has focused on optimizing agency responses to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests under Michigan law while ensuring compliance with the governing statute. He has also worked on myriad complex licensing issues affecting Michigan businesses, from manufactured home parks to medical marijuana facilities.
Evan has worked for Michigan’s Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs and for the Admissions Department at Michigan State University College of Law. He graduated with a degree in International Relations from Michigan State’s James Madison College of Public Affairs in 2015, and won significant recognition as an intercollegiate policy debater.
Evan competes on MSU Law’s moot court team in addition to being a member of the Michigan State Law Review. He is an avid SCUBA diver and enjoys backpacking and hammocking in his spare time.
