Summer Experience: Legal Services of Eastern Michigan in Flint, Michigan

Erin Avey's legal interests include Communications law, Media law, and Constitutional law. In addition to the Michigan State Law Review, Erin is also a member of the First Amendment Clinic, which teaches local high school journalism students about free speech and other legal issues. Her personal interests include road tripping, going to concerts, and reading autobiographies by funny and smart women.

Erin graduated summa cum laude from Oakland University with a B.A. in Communication and minors in Writing and Rhetoric and Applied Leadership Skills. She grew up in Davisburg, Michigan.
